[글래디에이터] – 검투사로 각성한 막시무스, 구더기 의료 요법, 동물과 노예 무역, 주카바르, 프록시모와 막시무스의 야망 2025. 5. 15. 주카바르 - 현재 알제리 밀라 - 막시무스가 노예로 팔려 간 곳막시무스가 살해 당한 가족을 목격하고 쓰러진 뒤 히스파니아(스페인)에서 주카바르로 노예상들에게 납치 당했다. 주카바르는 현재의 알제리 밀라(Miliana)라는 도시로 쥬카바르에서 프록시모라는 검투사 경기 프로모터가 막시무스를 사들인다. 구더기를 이용한 상처 치료와 구더기 요법누미디아 출신의 사냥꾼이지만 노예로 팔려온 주바는 막시무스의 팔에 난 상처를 구더기로 치유한다. 구더기 요법은 특히나 재생이 불가능한 상처들에 효과적이며 현재도 의료적 효험에 대해 연구가 되고 있다. 물론 제약이 많지만 구더기 요법은 죽은 세포들을 제거하는 죽은 제거 조직술(데브리드먼트, debridement) 효과와 염증 완화, 세포 성장 유도와 항균 효과 등을 가졌다..
