Elrond

After the Third Kinslaying of the elves, Maglor fostered Elrond and Elros by the guilt that he had during the Second Kinslaying of the elves for the twin sons of Dior.

Maglor truly loved Elrond and Elros where the brothers learned from the mentorship of Maglor. After the War of the Wrath and Maglor went missing after the frenzy of the Silmaril and Gil-Galad took in Elrond and Elros.

By the judgement of the Valars that half-elf half-humans must choose either one of their fates, the parents of Earendil and Elwing chose their fate as an elf. After the War of the Wrath Elrond and Elros were also given a choice to choose their fate as either a human or an elf. Elrond chose fate as an elf.

Elrond would serve the High King of the Noldor elves on Middle Earth Gil-Galad as his lieutenant and eventually later on become one of the masters that overwatched the Middle Earth as the leader of Rivendell(Imladris)

Elros and Numenor

Elros was the son of Earendil and Elwing while he was also the twin brother of the elf-lord Elrond. After the War of the Wrath, Elros and Elrond were supposed to make a choice to decide their fate whether as a human or an elf.

While Elrond chose his fate as an elf, Elros chose his fate as a human and chose the Gift of Iluvatar, Death instead of immortality as an elf. After Elros chose his faith as a human, the Star of Earendil would lead Elros to the island of Andor that was also called Elenna.

Elros and the Edain humans were blessed by the Valars with a long life-span and they would become the first of the Numenorians and the Dunedains. Elros would found the Edain nation of Numenor and became the first king while he took his name as Tar-Minyatur.

Elros or the first king of Numenor Tar-Minyatur would set the national religion to worship the Valars and made a tradition to set the royal language in Quenya while naming all the kings of Numenor after the Quenya elves.

Gifts and Heirlooms of Numenor

Elros would bring special heirlooms from his lineage to Numenor including the Axe of Tuor, Thingol’s sword Aranruth and the Ring of Barahir to Numenor. These became the heirloom of the lineage of Numenor.

Also, the elves that would journey to Valinor on the moving island Tol Elessar, gifted the Numenorians the seeds of Celeborn which was a descendant of the white tree of Galathilion that was made after imagery of Telperion, one of the Two Trees of Valinor.

The seeds of Celebron would grow into Nimloth, the White Tree of Nuemnor and became a symbol of the worship of the Valars and a symbol of Numenor. Later on, Nimloth would become the mother of all the White Trees of Gondor as well.

The elves have also gifted the Palantirs that were the magic mind stones that were forged by Feanor as a method of communication for the Numenorians

Lindon and Gil-Galad

Lindon was founded at the west of the Blue Mountains in the remnants of Ossiriand that hadn’t been sunk during the sinking of Beleriand. The Noldor elf King and the High King of the Elves of the West Gil-Galad chose not to head to Valinor and established a kingdom of Sindar elves, Noldor elves that decided to stay on middle earth called Lindon.

Celeborn and Galadriel and Celebrimbro also resided in Lindon before they would later form different elf countries. Lindon, led by Gil-Galad would participate in the War of the elves and Sauron, battle of Eregion, Battle of Dagorlad, the War of the Last Alliance, and the Angmar War.

The Grey Havens led by Cirdan, Gil-Galad’s mentor was closely related with Lindon and after Gil-Galad’s death Cirdan would rule Lindon as well.

Grey Havens and Cirdan

After Beleriand sank, Cirdan and his elves relocated to the newly formed Gulf of Lune to the west of Eriador and built the Grey Havens. The Grey Havens has served as port city and the center of sailing and ship building technology of Middle Earth.

The Grey Havens have served as a port for those who would travel to Valinor or an entrance for those who came from Valinor such as the Istari.

The Grey Havens would council on Numenor, Gondor and Arnor of sailing and exploring the seas. Cirdan’s Grey Havens was also served as the final defense for the War of the elves and Sauron and supported the elves and humans during the history of the Legendarium.

Gundabad

The theater of Middle Earth during the 1st Ages of the Years of the Sun was focused on the west and Beleriand. However, Gundabad has also been residing since the first awakening of the Dwarves where Durin the Deathless first woke up and started to live in Gundbad located at the north tip of the Misty Mountains.

As Gundabad was the first home for the dwarves, Gundabad was considered a sacred kingdom for the dwarves. Gundabad didn’t participate much in the history of the Legendarium until the 2nd Age began.

The owners of Gudabad would constantly shift over the ages during the War of the Elves and Sauron, Angmar wars, The War of the Dwarves and Orcs and during the War of the Rings.

Khazad-Dum or Moria

Khaza-Dum or also known as Moria was also a kingdom founded by Durin the Deathless after he woke up from Gundbad. Khazad-Dum was also known as Moria and it was located in the undergrounds of the middle of the Misty Mountains. Khazad-Dum also existed since the First Ages but didn’t take much part in Legendarium History until the Second Ages.

After the sinking of Beleriand, the dwarves of Belegost and Nogrod that lived in the Blue Mountains would migrate to Khazad-Dum as Belegost and Nogrod was also devastated during the War of the Wrath.

Although the dwarves didn’t share much gratitude with the Sindarin elves or the green elves and forest elves because of the incident of Thingol and the Silmaril with the Nauglamir, the dwarves of Khazad-Dum were fond of the Noldor eves as the Noldor elves were the masters of craftsmanship where famous masterpieces of the Middle Earth mostly originate from the Noldor elves.

Khazad-Dum formed a powerful alliance with Eregion led by Celebrimbro and participate in the War of the Elves and Sauron and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men as well.

Khazad-Dum was especially famous for its wealth for the rich mithril mines. However, a balrog that survived and escaped from the War of the Wrath awaken and would perish Khazad-Dum later in history.

Iron Hills

The Iron Hills was a colony of the dwarves of Khazad-Dum since the First Age. It became a trades post where primarily iron was mined.
