Owen Grady – Chris Pratt
Owen Grady was an animal behaviorist who served for the United States Navy. InGen recruited Owen Grady as the main manager of the IBRIS Project Integrated Behavioral Raptor Intelligence Study that studied the intelligence of velociraptors and attempted to form a bond between the velociraptors and humans.
Several different genetic hybrid velociraptors were bred to check which kind of hybrid velociraptor would exhibit the best intelligence.
Originally, the IBRIS Project of the velociraptors was programmed as a site seeing for visitors of Jurassic World where they would demonstrate several commands that show the bond between the trainer and the vicious carnivorous velociraptors.
However, Vic Hoskins and InGen Security Division had different plans and constantly attempted to interfere with Owen Grady’s project. Owen Grady was somewhat bitter against humans while he had an excellent bond with his velociraptors especially the velociraptor named Blue and had great respect for nature.
However, Owen Grady while he was proud and had attachment to the velociraptors, he insisted that velociraptors were wild animals and they would never become tools for humans. Owen Grady was shocked of the creation of the Indominus Rex and the naïve plans of the Jurassic Word staff in response of the outbreak of the Indominus Rex.
After there was no choice but to use the velociraptors to track down the Indominus Rex, Owen Grady demonstrates the velociraptors to track it down by scent. However, the Indominus Rex was part velociraptor and communicated with the velociraptors.
The velociraptors took a glance on Owen Grady as they were confused on how to react but the hasty gun fire created a chaos and the velociraptors started attacking the humans.
In front of the Jurassic World Lagoon, Owen Grady confirms his trust and friendship with the velociraptors and under the velociraptor Blue’s command the velociraptors attack the Indominus Rex. Owen Grady releases the velociraptor Blue so she could roam freely in the wild.
Cristopher Michael Pratt or Chris Pratt took the role as Owen Grady in Jurassic Word. Chris Pratt has acted in many movies as a supportive actor while he earned global fame as Star-Lord Peter Quill in the Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel Cinematic series.
Chris Pratt has acted as Barry in the movie Wanted, Scott Hatteberg in Moneyball, Justin Lenihan in the movie Zero Dark Thirty, Paul in the movie HER, Jim Preston in the movie Passengers, and Dan Forester in the movie The Tomorrow War which he even produced.
Claire Dearing – Bryce Dallas Howard
The sister of Karen Mitchell and aunt of Zach and Gray, Claire Dearing was the manager of Jurassic World. Early in her years, Claire Dearing had passion in raising animals and the protection of nature, however after she landed a career in Jurassic World, and climbed up the ranks, she became an obsessed businesswoman that treated dinosaurs as consumable assets and a control-oriented person demanding obedience.
Simon Masrani was impressed of Claire Dearing since she was an intern and Claire Dearing was able to climb up the ranks very quickly.
Claire Dearing was a workaholic but she still had love for her nephews even though she sent her assistant to spend time. During the process of the massacre of the Apatosaurus, the outbreak of the Indominus rex, death of Simon Masrani’s helicopter crash and the chaos of Indominus Rex, Claire Dearing deeply regretted her actions and reflected on her life.
Claire Dearing even releases the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Paddock 9 as an attempt to take down the Indominus Rex that she clearly admitted the creation itself was a mistake.
After the Jurassic World Incident, Claire Dearing reflected on her life as she was chased by the media, conspiracy theories, the government and the horrors that she has witnessed herself. Claire Dearing felt bitter of how she has changed from an animal enthusiast to a profit obsessed businesswoman and also felt responsible for the dinosaurs that still lived.
Claire Dearing became an active advocate for the protection of dinosaurs and their rights and she later became the leader of the Dinosaur Protection Group.
Bryce Dallas Howard acted the role as Claire Dearing in Jurassic World. She has become an active producer and actress where she even directed several episodes of The Mandalorian series of the Star Wars franchise. Bryce Dallas Howard acted as Gwen Stacy in the Sony Pictures Spider Man 3 as Gwen Stacy, Kate Connor in Terminator Salvation, Victoria in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Gray Mitchell – Ty Keegan Simpkins
Gray Mitchell was the younger son of Karen and Scott Mitchell who was enthusiastic of dinosaurs. Gray and Zach, the Mitchell brothers were invited to Jurassic World by their aunt Claire Dearing who was the senior Assets manager of Jurassic World.
Instead of being greeted her in person, the brothers were accompanied by the ignorant assistant Zara Young. As a kid, Gray Mitchell was sad that his parents might be divorced and didn’t understand his elder brother’s reactions to such news.
After the brothers successfully survived from the Indominus rex, velociraptor attack and the tragedy of Jurassic World, Zach and Gray despite their kind of cold relationship, have gained trust towards each other and became much more friendly.
Ty Keegan Simpkins acted the role as Gray Mitchell in Jurassic World. He also took the role as Dalton Lambert in the horror film Insidious and the Insidious: The Last Key.
Ty Keegan Simpkins became famous as the little boy named Harley Keener with the potato gun that helped Tony Stark rebuild his Mark 42 Iron Man suit in Iron Man 3. Many thought he would have taken the legacy of Iron Man as he also appeared at the funeral of Iron Man in Tony Stark’s funeral.
Zach Mitchell – Nick Robinson
Zachary Zach Mitchell was the teenager son of Karen and Scott and the older brother of Gray. Although Zach was a bit cold to Gray and seemed to be more interested in girls, once Gray was upset inside the gyrosphere and because of their aunt Claire’s assistant Zara was bothering them enjoying Jurassic World, Zach decides to take some detours so his brother could really enjoy Jurassic World.
Overall Zach promises to protect Gray and they survive the Indominus Rex attack and the velociraptor attack.
The two brother quickly made a bond after their life-threatening adventure. Nicholas John Robinson or Nick Robinson takes the role as Zach Mitchell. He has starred as Ryder Scanlon in the comedy Melissa & Joey, Ben Parish in the movie The 5th Wave, Simon Spier in Love, Simon and Olly Bright in Everything Everything.
Barry Sembène – Omar Sy
Barry Sembène was an old friend and colleague with Owen Grady before they joined InGen for the IBRIS Project (The velociraptor project). Owen Grady after being hired by InGen recommends and recruits Barry Sembène to assist his tasks.
The French actor Omar Sy took the role as Barry Sembène. By the movie Intouchables as Bakary Driss Bassari, he started to earn worldwide recognition. Omar Sy even acted as Bishop in the X-men Days of Future Past, the chef Michel in the movie Burnt and starred as Assane Diop Lupin in the Lupin television series.
