Aragorn has granted autonomy to the Shire and the Druedain that helped the Rohirrim pass safely to Minas Tirith during the Siege of Minas Tirith. Aragorn would then lead some campaigns against the Haradrim and the Easterlings that still resisted.

However, Aragorn has made peace with the Haradrim and the Easterlings and incorporated the lands of Harad to Southern Gondor now called Harondor.

Aragorn ruled Gondor and Arnor for 120 years and gave the crown to his son Eldarion and died at the age of 210. Aragorn was buried in the House of Kings at Rath Dinen.

Legolas befriended Gimli during their journeys together as the Fellowship of the Ring. Legolas would make several trips together with Gimli vising the Glittering Caves and the Fangorn Forest.

Instead of dwelling in the mirkwoods now restored back to Greenwoods the Great, Legolas relocated to the Ithilien region with some of the elves.

The whereabouts of Thranduil isn’t known but Legolas somehow stayed at Ithilien. After Aragorn passed away, Legolas prepared a ship to sail to Valinor at Ithilien.

Gimli reconstructed the Great Gate of Minas Tirith with mithril that was destroyed during the Siege of Minas Tirith.

The Valars granted permission to Gimli to enter Valinor possibly as he was the elf-friend and Gimli became the only dwarf to ever enter Valinor. Gimli joined Legolas after Aragorn’s death and sailed together to Valinor.

Theoden’s funeral and Eomer, the 18th king of Rohan

After the coronation of Aragorn, Eomer brought back Theoden’s body to Edoras, the capital of Rohan and held Theoden in the Tombs of the kings.

Eomer then announced the official marriage of his sister Eowyn with Faramir, the Prince of Ithilien. Eomer was crowned as the 18th king of Rohan.

While Sauron and the One Ring were destroyed, still the easterlings, Haradrim and the remaining dark creatures threatened middle earth.

Eomer joined campaigns of Aragorn to repel the evil remaining on middle earth.

Eomer would marry Lothiriel, the daughter of Imrahil, the prince of Dol Amroth and had a son named Elfwine. Eomer would invite Merry and Pippin one last time before his death and passed away.
