Infiltration of Voldemort into the Ministry of Magic

Corban Yaxley overheard from Auror John Dawlish of Harry Potter will be relocating after his birthday. Many of Voldemort’s allies and Death Eaters have infiltrated into the Ministry of Magic although they didn’t have full control of this point.

 

 

However, Severus Snape assures Voldemort that Harry Potter will relocate before his birthday the 31st of July. Severus Snape pinpoints the date the 27th of July to attack on Harry Potter which Voldemort also agrees.

 

 

Blood Magic of Protection on Harry Potter at the Dursley’s house

Harry Potter was kept at the Dursley’s house because Petunia Dursley was Lily Potter’s sister by blood. Lily Potter sacrificed herself and casted a powerful protection magic onto Harry Potter on the night Voldemort murdered the Potters.

Harry Potter had a powerful protection magic flowing in his blood that deflected Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

 

 

 

However, to maintain this protection magic, a relative who shares blood with him was mandatory so Harry Potter had to stay with the Dursleys after all this time before the age seventeen.

When Harry Potter turned seventeen, the adult age for the wizardry world, the protection magic expired. Voldemort attempted to use Harry’s blood for his resurrection to avoid this protection magic but failed. Now he is eager to murder Harry Potter after the blood protection magic expires.

 

 

Overwatch on all possible transportation by Voldemort and the Death Eaters

Voldemort and the Death Eaters had all possible surveillance on the Dursley’s house so they could attack Harry Potter before he escapes from the Dursleys. Apparition, the Floo Network (To connect to the Floo Network, one must report to the Ministry of Magic), and portkeys (Portkeys also needed to be reported to the Ministry of Magic) were all under monitoring by the Death Eaters and Voldemort.

 

 

Battle of the Seven Potters – Order of the Pheonix members arrives at the Dursley’s

Kingsley Shacklebolt, Nymphadora Tonks, Alastor Moody, Remus Lupin, Arthur Weasley, Fred and George Weasley twins, Rubeus Hagrid Bill Weasley, Fleur Delacour, Mundungus Fletcher, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger arrive at the Dursley’s house at 4 Privet Drive.

 

 

Mundungus Fletcher was the person who has made the idea of creating a diversion of multiple Harry Potters by poly juice so the Order of the Pheonix could safely relocate Harry Potter.

Harry Potter was thankful but also felt guilty for the sacrifice of his friends and fellow colleagues of the Order of the Pheonix because they would have to risk their lives for him.

 

 

Battle of the Seven Potters – Polyjuice potion

By Mundungus Fletcher’s plans, seven members including Harry Potter would drink a Polyjuice potion to transform into Harry Potter while each member would have a protector on their side on their trip safety. George Weasley, Fred Weasley, Fleur Delacour, Hermione Granger, Mundungus Fletcher and Ron Weasley drank the Polyjuice potion to transform and disguise as Harry Potter as a diversion.

 

 

Battle of the Seven Potters – Takeoff

Each member disguised as Harry Potter was assigned a protector along. Each duo was given a different type of ride to create an even greater diversion. However, immediately after the takeoff, the Order of the Pheonix members were taken by surprise and ambushed by the Death Eaters and Voldemort

Death of Harry Potter’s owl Hedwig

Immediately after takeoff of the Order of the Pheonix members, it became complete chaos as the outnumbered Order of the Pheonix went to fierce battle with the Death Eaters and Voldemort. During the middle of the battle, Harry Potter was targeted with the Killing Curse. However, Harry’s owl Hedwig took the shot and died.

 

 

Voldemort and Harry Potter’s aerial duel – Lucius Malfoy’s wand breaks

Harry Potter was identified among the other fake Harry Potters by the owl Hedwig and the fact that Harry Potter would frequently use the disarming charm Expeliarmus. Voldemort once more targets Harry Potter with Lucius Malfoy’s wand and a stream of sparks burst.

However, Harry Potter’s wand core, the feather of the phoenix Fawkes had another unique characteristic.

 

 

The phoenix feather of Harry’s wand has recognized Voldemort’s magic because it has encountered Voldemort before during the duel at the Little Hangleton graveyard during Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The phoenix feather once absorbed Voldemort’s magic before so even when Voldemort used Lucius Malfoy’s wand, the phoenix feather recognized Voldemort by the Priori Incantatem or Prior Incantato effect. Lucius Malfoy’s wand was destroyed and Voldemort once again failed to kill Harry Potter.

 

 

Arrival at the Burrows

In the novel, Harry Potter and Hagrid reach the Tonks’s house where they were treated with their injuries first and then headed to the Burrows by a portkey.

One by one the Order of the Pheonix members arrived but they were all in shell shock, panicked, and paranoid of the surprise attack by Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Remus Lupin interrogated Harry Potter on what was the creature that was in his office when they first met which Harry successfully answers a grindylow.

 

 

Other members would also interrogate each other as an imposter may have slipped in. The Order of the Pheonix members all agree that Alastor Moody was never paranoid at all after encountering such a ferocious ambush by the dark wizards and witches.

 

 

Death of Alastor Madeye Moody

Unfortunately, Alastor Moody was sacrificed and murdered by Voldemort during the chaos. Voldemort thought the most powerful wizard among the Order of the Pheonix would be Harry Potter’s guardian.Alastor

Madeye Moody was the most powerful among the Order of the Pheonix members so Voldmoert went after Alastor Moody.

 

 

Voldemort aimed Mundungus Fletcher who was disguised as Harry Potter with the Killing Curse but Mundungus Fletcher fled and this curse hit Alastor Madeye Moody.

Voldemort disengaged and quit his pursuit on the imposter Harry Potter as he heard news of the real Harry Potter. Alastor Moody’s eye was later looted by Dolores Umbridge.

 

 

George’s ear was cut by Snape’s Sectumsempra / Confirmation of Severus Snape’s betrayal

While the other members of the Order of the Pheonix were also severely injured, George Weasley’s ear would strangely not heal at all. George and Arthur Weasley recall that it was Severus Snape’s curse Sectumsempra that cut off George Weasley’s ear.

A wound made by dark magic wouldn’t heal unless it was treated with the proper counter-curse so George Weasley could never recover his ear cutoff by Severus Snape.

 

 

The Order of the Pheonix confirms that Severus Snape is a traitor as Severus Snape slashed George Weasley’s ear and without a spy, Voldemort and the Death Eaters would have never planned such a surprise attack on Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix.
