[호빗 다섯 군대 전투] - 설명 파트 1 - 스마우그의 죽음, 라스갈렌의 백색 보석, 미스릴, 검은 화살 그리고 인간과 드워프 엘프들이 서로 싸운 이유 2024. 11. 19. 스마우그의 죽음과 바르드의 검은 화살활잡이 바르드는 너른골의 영주 기리온의 후예로 검은 화살이라고 불리는 특별한 화살들을 물려받았다. 검은 화살들의 정확한 출처는 안 밝혀지지 않았지만 이 검은 화살들은 옛 에레보르의 드워프 장인들이 만들어 너른골의 영주들에게 선물 된 것으로 추측 된다. 스마우그가 호수마을을 공격하기 시작 할 때, 바르드는 몇 명을 모아서 스마우그에게 맞서 호수마을을 지키고자 하였고, 그 과정에서 바르드는 검은 화살들을 챙겨 스마우그를 겨냥한다.  영화에서는 스마우그가 너른골(데일)의 후손인 기리온이 자신의 영지를 지키지 못한 것을 조롱하며 바르드의 가족들 또한 위협하지만 그 사이에 바르드는 스마우그의 약점인 비늘이 없는 가슴팍의 부분을 발견하고, 바르드는 검은 화살로 스마우그의 약점을 ..

[호빗 스마우그의 폐허] - 설명 파트 3 - 호수마을, 바르드, 빌보 배긴스와 스마우그 그리고 레젠다리움의 용 2024. 11. 18. 호수마을, 에스가로스데일(너른골)은 외로운 산에 위치한 드워프들의 왕국 에레보르의 입구 근처에 있던 인간들의 도시였다. 데일(너른골)은 드워프와 엘프들이 인간들과 함께 무역소로 활용을 하면서 매우 번성을 한 인간들의 도시였다. 하지만 스마우그는 에레보르를 탈취하면서 걸리적거리던 너르골(데일) 또한 파괴해버렸다. 당시 데일(너른골)의 군주였던 기리온은 스마우그에게 살해를 당하였고, 기리온의 후예인 바르드가 호빗 시점에서 호수마을에 살게 된다.  너른골(데일)의 유민들은 이후 긴 호수(롱 레이크)로 향하여 스마우그가 무서워서 물 위의 수상 도시인 호수마을을 만들어 정착한다. 호수마을은 에스가로스라고도 불렸으며, 스마우그는 너른골(데일)의 유민들의 후손들이 위협이 되지 않는다고 생각하여 굳이 수상 도시인 호수..

[호빗 스마우그의 폐허] - 설명 파트 2 - 스란두일, 루다우르, 볼그, 앙그마르의 마술사왕과 아셀라스 2024. 11. 18. 어둠숲의 엘프 왕 스란두일영화 호빗에서는 스란두일은 부정적이고 이기적인 인물로 묘사가 되었지만 원작 소설에서는 스란두일이 비교적 폐쇄적인 인물은 맞았지만 영화에서 묘사 된 것과 같이 부정적인 면모가 매우 부각되는 엘프는 아니었다. 스란두일 또한 요정과 인간의 마지막 동맹 전쟁에 참전하여 사우론과 전쟁을 벌였다. 스란두일은 엘프와 인간의 마지막 동맹 전쟁에서 자신의 아버지이자 선대 왕인 엘프 왕 오로페르를 비롯한 절반 이상의 실반 엘프들을 전쟁으로 인해 잃었다.  어둠숲의 엘프 왕국은 이때 전사한 엘프들이 너무 많아서 그 이후로도 엘프와 인간의 마지막 동맹 전쟁으로 인한 인력 공백을 채울 수가 없어서 스란두일은 하는 수 없이 비교적 폐쇄적인 형태로 어둠숲의 왕국을 운영 할 수 밖에 없었고, 어둠숲의 남부의..

[호빗 스마우그의 폐허] - 설명 파트 1 - 일곱 난쟁이의 힘의 반지, 어둠숲, 거미들, 레골라스와 타우리엘 2024. 11. 17. 간달프가 참나무방패 소린의 만남원작 호빗 소설과 더 호빗 영화 사이에 차이점은 있었지만, 참나무방패 소린과 간달프가 서로 원하던 부분들은 비슷하여 이들은 함께 에레보르로 여정을 떠나 스마우그를 퇴치하기로 협의를 한다. 소설에서는 간달프가 이미 사우론이 돌 굴두르에 있음을 발견하고, 돌 굴두르에서 참나무방패 소린의 아버지 스라인 2세를 만난 상태였다. 원작에서는 스라인2세가 간달프에게 에레보르의 비밀 통로의 위치를 표시한 지도와 열쇠를 모두 준 뒤 돌 굴두르에서 사망하였고, 간달프가 참나무방패 소린에게 스라인 2세의 유품을 전달해주었다.  이때 간달프는 사우론이 힘의 반지들을 빼앗고 스마우그와 사우론이 동맹을 맺을 것을 걱정하여 참나무방패 소린에게 자신이 스마우그를 처치하고 에레보르를 되찾는데 도움을 주겠..
