Negotiations with Griphook

Griphook had negative perspectives against wizards and witches so he even resisted to the Death Eaters as he hated that they treated goblins as their slaves.

Griphook still had negative perspectives, however he was pleased and moved by Harry Potter as he treated Dobby a house elf as his equal by burying him by his hands and giving a proper burial and funeral.

While Harry, Hermione and Ron was negotiating with Griphook to become a guide when they infiltrate Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Griphook shows interest in the Sword of Gryffindor.

Griphook decided to collaborate with the trio in exchange of the Sword of Gryffindor, an old artefact that the goblin race were long after. Griphook made such a decision even though he still distrusted wizards and witches because he was truly inspired by Harry Potter treating Dobby well.

Griphook thought it was an opportunity to fulfill the wishes of Ragnuk, the first, the old Goblin King and the forger of the Sword of Gryffindor as he coveted the Sword of Gryffindor after forging it for Godric Gryffindor.

Garrick Ollivander and wandlore at the Shell Cottage

Harry Potter has a conversation with Garrick Ollivander of the Elder Wand and Draco Malfoy’s wand. Garrick Ollivander recognizes all the owners of the wands that he has forged and has presented. Garrick Ollivander informs that Harry Potter became the new master of Draco Malfoy’s wand.

Harry Potter was confused because all he did was take the wand from Draco Malfoy.

Garrick Ollivander advises that a wand is not like an ordinary object and informs Harry that the wand chooses the wizard and it is not the wizard choosing the wand. Garrick Ollivander tells that by Harry Potter disarming Draco Malfoy, Draco Malfoy’s wand has changed its allegiance to Harry Potter.

Bellatrix Lestrange’s Wand

Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand was 12 ¾ inches long(about 32cm long) and made of walnut wood with a dragon heartstring core that was made by Garrick Ollivander. Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand despite being picked up by Hermione when Dobby dropped a chandelier for diversion never yielded to Hermione.

Harry Potter thought it was odd that Hermione couldn’t use magic properly with Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand. However Garrick Ollivander later confirms that Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand still pleads loyalty to Bellatrix Lestrange unlike Draco Malfoy’s wand.

Draco Malfoy’s wand

Draco Malfoy’s wand was a 10 inch long (25 cm) wand made from hawthorn wood and the wand core was a unicorn hair manufactured by Garric Ollivander that he described reasonably springy wand.

At the Malfoy Manor, Harry Potter seizes Draco Malfoy’s wand and took it with him. Harry Potter was surprised at how well Draco Malfoy’s wand operated with him and wonders why.

Harry Potter lets Garrick Ollivander examine Draco Malfoy’s wand and uses it for the rest of his campaign for the horcurxes. Garrick Ollivander confirms that Harry Potter has ‘won’ from Draco Malfoy by disarming him and Draco Malfoy’s wand accepted Harry Potter as his new master.

.

Hermione Granger snatched Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand while Ron Wealsey took Peter Pettigrew’s wand. The trio gets an idea of breaking into Gringotts as they possessed Bellatrix Lestrange’s wand and a strand of hair that Hermione obtained while she was tortured.

Garrick Ollivander insists that not much is known of the Elder Wand but among those who study wandlore, it was for certain that those who possessed the Elder Wand went through a bloody history.

Garrick Ollivander tells Harry Potter he doesn’t have much information except for its power and if Voldemort possesses the Elder Wand, Harry Potter might not be a match for him unfortunately.

Voldemort visits the White Tomb and claims the Elder Wand

Albus Dumbledore’s grave, the White Tomb made with white marble was located on the Great Lake at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After a long journey searching for the Elder Wand, Voldemort finally meets Gellert Grindelwald.

However, Voldemort was furious as Gellert Grindelwald gave him nothing but only scoffed and taunted him that he shall never become the master of the Elder Wand.

Gellert Grindelwald was believed to have never yield for the last remaining memories with Albus Dumbledore and Grindelwald sincerely believed Voldemort was merely a foolish kid.
