Maybe, if Dune Part 3 premieres, details could be added. Dune Part 3 is planned but personally, I think it would be very difficult to convey the messages and the main theme.

 

 

 

 

Count Hasimir Fenring – Closet Friend of Shaddam Ⅳ Corrino

Hasimir Fenring took over Caladan when the emperor ordered House Atreides to govern Arrakis. Hasimir Fenring was known as the closest friend of emperor Shaddam Ⅳ Corrino.

However, he was also a skilled warrior and a trained mentat who was once a Kwisatz Haderach candidate. However, Hasimir Fenring was a eunuch, in other words he was castrated, and unable to have children of his own bloodline.

 

 

 

The Bene Gesserit thus would use Hasimir Fenring’s wife Margot Fenring for their own ambitions.

Hasimir Fenring was ordered by Shaddam Ⅳ Corrino as an emperor and Count Fenring was asked as a friend of Shaddam Ⅳ Corrino to kill Paul Atreides, however, eventually Count Fenring refuses and joins the former emperor’s exile.

 

 

Hasimir Fenring was known as the closest friend of Padishah emperor Shaddam Ⅳ Corrino. Count Fenring has been managing political affairs convincing the High Council of the Landsraad that the emperor had nothing to do with the extermination of House Atreides.

 

 

Feyd Rautha Harkonnen & Margot Fenring’s daughter Marie Fenring

Margot Fenring or Lady Fenring was the wife of count Hasimir Fenring. Margot Fenring was a loyal member of the Bene Gesserit and in the novel, she was a close friend of Lady Jessica as well.

Margot Ferning would warn Lady Jessica of House Harkonnen in the novel. Margot Fenring would seduce Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen and bear his child out of wedlock for the cause of the Bene Gesserit.

 

 

She gives birth to Marie Fenring, who would later attempt to assassin Paul Muad dib Atreides. Marie Fenring would reside on planet Thalidei which is the center of another secret organization the Bene Tleilax.

 

 

Paul Atreides, the Kwisatz Haderach out of control of the Bene Gesserit

The Bene Gesserit has planned for about 10,000 years for the Kwisatz Haderach who shall lead humanity to the ‘Golden Path’. However, the Bene Gesserit’s most important objective was to take control of the Kwisatz Haderach. Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam refers Paul Atreides as an important term ‘Abomination’ in Dune Part 2.

 

 

Already, Lady Jessica disobeyed orders of the Bene Gesserit and gave birth to a male child when she was supposed to give birth to a daughter.

However, Lady Jessica herself, also seeked to manipulate and control Paul Atreides’s fate as Kwisatz Haderach. Later on, through a series of events, Lady Jessica realizes that she loses control of the path to leading humanity to prosperity as well. This isn’t limited to the fate of Paul Atreides.

 

 

Alia Atreides – Daughter of Lady Jessica and sister of Paul Atreides, the Pre-born

When Lady Jessica took the test of the Water of Life, the Fremen sayyadina who were the sorceress of the Fremen would cry of fear as they noticed Lady Jessica was pregnant during the ritual. Water of Life was the juices extracted from a young sandworm that was extremely toxic to the human body.

 

 

The Water of Life is extremely toxic and with a high chance, even the most trained sorceress would fail and die but Lady Jessica and Alia Atreides both withstand the ritual. However, Alia Atreides becomes a ‘Pre-born’ which the Bene Gesserit dreadfully feared.

 

 

A Pre-born meant a person who could access the past of the Reverend Mothers before birth. Alai Atreides could thus, communicate with Lady Jessica even before her birth. Without experience and mental training, access to the memories of ancestors was extremely dangerous. The Bene Gesserit once they knew of Alai Atreides’s birth referred her as the ‘Accursed One’.

 

Rise of Atreides Empire / Paul Muad’Dib Usul Atreides, the Padishah Emperor

 

Victory on the Plain of Arrakeen – Rumble in the balance of Major Powers

After the victory on battle of the Plain of Arrakeen against the imperial military Sardaukar forces, Paul Atreides claims himself the emperor of the known universe and reigns as the padishah emperor of the new Atreides Empire. He takes Irulan Corrino as his wife while giving up his over Chani to justify his reign.

 

 

The Landsraad which included the major houses and minor houses of the universe disapproves and Paul Muad’Dib Usul Atreides’s reign and attempts to overthrow him. The Bene Gesserit also cooperates with the Landsraad as they realized Paul, the Kwisatz Haderach was totally out of their control.

The Spacing Guild who also exhibited great prescience abilities yield and bow to the might of Paul Atredes’s power.

 

 

The Kwisatz Haderach’s prescience abilities easily overwhelmed those of the Spacing Guild and Paul Atreides also threatened to cut off all mélange spice production, so the Spacing Guild had no choice but give in to the new Atreides Empire’s emperor.

CHOAM, which monopolized commerce and finance of the universe would also yield to emperor Paul Atreides to an extent that House Corrino never experienced.

 

 

Muad’Dib’s Jihad begins – (10196 AG ~ 10208 AG)

Paul Atreides accepts the name Muad’ Dib which meant the ‘wise teacher’ and the kangaroo mouse of the Arrakis desert and the Fremen name Usul. He is also acknowledged as the Madhi and the Lisan Al’Gaib by the Fremen.

The Madhi was the prophet the Fremen believed that would make Arrakis prosperous, and Lisan Al’ Gaib which meant ‘Voice from Outer Space’ was believed to be the Madhi in ancient Fremen religion.

 

 

Fremen warriors the Fedaykin would become emperor Paul Atredies’s fanatic zealots and guard’s military force like the Sardaukar was to House Corrino. As the Landsraad wouldn’t yield to rule of the Atreides Empire, emperor Paul Muad’ Dib Atreides starts a ‘holy war’ to consolidate his power by landing fedaykins to the systems.

 

 

Unlike common knowledge, Arrakis had a huge population with fedaykins which were warriors that could even rival the notorious Sardaukar. Armed with religious fanaticism and immense military power, and with a considerable number, the fedaykin crusades and commence war upon the whole galaxy.

This was called Muad’Dibs’ Jihad or Paul’s Jihad or the Fremen Jiahad or the Second Jihad(as Butlerian Jihad as the First Jihad)

 

 

Results of Muad’ Dib’s Jihad – Consolidation of Atreides Empire

The Fremen and Fedaykin warriors were fanatic deadly zealots while extremely efficient. As their Madhi, the Lsian Al’ Gaib declares Jihad across the whole galaxy, they’ve executed their messiah’s order without error.

The only planet in the galaxy that withstood the Muad’Dib’s Jihad was planet Caladan the original home world of House Atreides.

 

 

Under the Flag of House Atreides, zealots of the Fedaykin conquered millions of planets and over 500 worlds while annihilating any other religions in the galaxy as well. Billions of people were sacrificed while even more have suffered the devastation of the Muad Dib’s Jihad.

 

 

The Landsraad didn’t stand a chance and unlike the balance of the Spacing Guild, Bene Gesserit, Landsraad and the imperial House Corrino that existed, the Atreides Empire stands solely with its might.

 

 

The Bene Gesserit loses much of its political influence, the Landsraad was crippled, the Spacing Guild already yielded and somewhat contributed to the jihad and CHOAM was controlled by the emperor.

The new fanatic zealots of House Atreides, the Fremen and Fedaykin would irradicate any who would oppose against the great emperor Paul Muad’ Dib Usul Atreides, the Kwisatz Haderach.
