[해리포터 시리즈] – 해리포터와 마법사의 돌 되짚기 파트 8 - 퀴디치 2024. 3. 23. 퀴디치의 역사퀴디치에 대한 역사와 기록은 11세기에 존재하던 마법사와 마녀들의 기록으로부터 비롯되었다. 이들이 주고받은 편지나 남겨 놓은 기록들을 살펴보면 퀴디치(Quidditch)라는 이름은 퀴얼디치 늪지(Queerditch Marsh)라고 불리는 장소에서 유래되었다고 한다. 마법사와 마녀들이 빗자루를 타고 후프에 공을 넣는 놀이를 이 퀴얼디치(Queerditch Marsh)늪지에서 시작한 것이 퀴디치의 유래가 된 셈이다.  이 퀴얼디치 늪지는 영국의 어느 장소에 존재를 했다고 하며, 실제 세계에서 축구 또한 영국이 종주국이듯 퀴디치 또한 영국이 종주국이었다. 또다른 퀴디치에 대한 기록을 살펴보면 이들은 퀴디치를 K를 사용하여서 Quiddtich가 아닌 Kwidditch라고 기재를 하였다는 기록들이 존..

[해리포터 시리즈] – 해리포터와 마법사의 돌 되짚기 파트 7 - 호그와트 마법학교의 수업들 2024. 3. 22. 드레이코 말포이와 해리포터의 악연의 시작 해리포터 영화 시리즈에서 드레이코 말포이와 해리포터의 첫 번째 만남은 호그와트 마법학교의 대연회장의 앞문에서 이루어졌지만, 소설속에서는 다이애건 앨리의 말킨 부인의 연미복점(Madam Malkin’s Robes for Special Occasions)에서 교복을 사기 위해 서로 만난 것이 첫 만남이었다. 해리포터는 루비우스 해그리드와 다이애건 앨리를 방문하였는데, 드레이코 말포이는 이를 모르고 해그리드를 거인 피가 섞인 더러운 잡종이라고 뒷담을 하면서 해리 포터는 드레이코 말포이에 대한 나쁜 첫 인상을 가지게 되었다. 사실 드레이코 말포이는 해리포터와 친해지고 싶었으며, 그 명성에 대한 동경과 질투가 있었다. 드레이코 말포이가 론 위즐리(로날드 위즐리)와 위즐리 ..
