The location of Lord Voldemort’s wand
Peter Pettigrew had obtained Voldemort’s wand from the murder scene of Harry Potter’s parents. After Sirius Black escaped Azkaban and revealed the truth of Peter Pettigrew’s betrayal, Peter Pettigrew had no choice but seek Lord Voldemort himself for protection.
Peter Pettigrew heads to Albania to find Lord Voldemort while carrying the wand of Lord Voldemort. Lord Voldemort’s wand’s core was a feather of a phoenix. This phoenix’s feather is the same as Harry Potter’s wand core and the phoenix is Albus Dumbledore’s phoenix Fawkes.
Lord Voldemort’s survival after Quirinus Quirrel
Lord Voldemort has been hiding in Albania once again after Quirinus Quirrel’s body disintegrated and he failed to obtain the Sorcerer's Stone(Philosopher's stone). Meanwhile Peter Pettigrew figures out the exact location of Lord Voldemort as he communicated with rats in his animagus form.
Peter Pettigrew accidentally meets with Bertha Jorkins who was an employee of the British Ministry of Magic’s Department of Magical Game and Sports.
Peter Pettigrew lures her to the location of Lord Voldemort. They torture her and obtain very valuable information from Bertha Jorkins. Lord Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew plot for the revival of Lord Voldemort’s body once again.
The dead woman in Harry Potter’s dream was actually Bertha Jorkins after she became useless for Lord Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew at the Riddle House.
Lord Voldemort’s temporary body
Before Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail) and Lord Voldemort seeks to make a temporary body for Lord Voldemort. Lord Voldemort couldn’t have made a move before Peter Pettigrew found him as Voldemort didn’t have a body.
However, with the help of Peter Pettigrew, with the venom of the snake Nagini and unicorn blood, Lord Voldemort was able to create a temporary body by dark magic.
Although this body was weak and small, Lord Voldemort’s soul took place in this body as a steppingstone to full recover a body for himself.
Nagini
Nagini is a female maledictus which permanently transformed to a snake. A maledictus is a human cursed to become a snake. Like an animagus, a maledictus could transform from a human to a snake or the opposite but is destined to eventually become a snake permanently.
Nagini somehow ended up with Lord Voldemort but they’ve maintained a very special relationship.
Lord Voldemort was very attached with Nagini and took great care of her but he never shown such affection to anyone else. Lord Voldemort communicated in Parselmouth by his Parsel tongue ability and he even survived and made a temporary body by the venom of Nagini. Lord Voldemort would offer the bodies of victims to Nagini as food as well.
Dark Mark
The Dark Mark was spell developed by Lord Voldemort as a means of communication. It was a mark of loyalty to Lord Voldemort because Lord Voldemort only engraved the Dark Mark onto the left arm of his most loyal servants.
The Dark Mark was the form of a skull with a serpent protruding out of the skull’s mouth. By the spell “Morsmordre” Lord Voldemort could cast the Dark Mark into the sky and send a message to his Death eaters to summon them.
Other Death Eaters could also cast the spell “Morsmordre” to summon their colleagues for reinforcements. The Dark Mark also served as a pass for cursed barriers that the Death Eaters or Lord Voldemort has casted.
More importantly, the Dark Mark itself indicated the strength of Lord Voldemort himself. While Lord Voldemort suddenly vanished after he failed to kill Harry Potter, the Dark Mark on the Death Eaters banished as well.
However, as Lord Voldemort got closer to his resurrection, the Dark Mark started to become more visible and the burning pain of the Death Mark forewarn the Death Eaters that the Dark Lord that they’ve once served is returning to accuse them of their lazy efforts.
Especially former Death Eaters like Igor Karkaroff were especially nervous that the Dark Mark became clearer and clearer. Igor Karkaroff would even argue of the return of the Dark Lord with Severus Snape. Igor Karkaroff especially panicked as he gave off the names of Death Eaters and he was aware of how vicious Lord Voldemort was especially to traitors.
Death Eaters
The Death Eaters was an organization of wizards and witches that gathered beneath the leadership of Lord Voldemort.
The Death Eaters were organized under Lord Voldemort and served him but the Death Eaters had each of their own ideals and reasons for serving Lord Voldemort.
Pure-blood supremacists, those who merely feared Lord Voldemort, thugs, psychopaths, ambitious people, sadists, weak people who sought protection etc all kinds of witches and wizard offered their service to Lord Voldemort and joined the Death Eaters.
Lord Voldemort concealed the identity of Death Eaters among each other so he could sort out traitors more easily and it would make a mutual check among the Death Eaters.
This even spread fear in the wizardry world as no one would know if even their neighbor was a Death Eater. Lord Voldemort with his army of Death Eaters attempted to take over the British magic world by the First Wizarding War.
However, the Order of the Pheonix and the Ministry of Magic especial the Department of Magical Law Enforcement went to brutal war against the Death Eaters which the Ministry of Magic even authorized the unforgivable curses against Death Eaters.
After Lord Voldemort mysteriously disappeared, Death Eaters would claim that they were under the Imperius Curse to avoid accusations of their crimes. Others such as Evan Rosier fought to death while some would remain their plead of loyalty to Lord Voldemort and ended up in Azkaban.
Even after Lord Voldemort went missing, as the identity of Death Eaters were kept a secret even among them it was difficult to seek them all.
However, traitors such as Igor Karkaroff helped find the Death Eaters. The loyal Death Eaters were mostly sentenced in Azkaban or dead while those who became reluctant to Lord Voldemort mostly claimed their innocence blaming, they were mind-controlled by the Imperius Curse. However, Lord Voldemort returns to accuse them.
Resurrection of Lord Voldemort at Little Hangleton graveyard
By Lord Voldemort’s plot and the excellent execution by Bartemius Crouch Junior, Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter end up at the graveyard of Little Hangleton as the Triwizard Cup was set up as a portkey.
By Lord Voldemort’s order Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail) murders Cedric Diggory and finishes the dark potion for the resurrection of Lord Voldemort’s body. With the hand of Wormtail, flesh of the servant, blood of Harry Potter, the blood of an enemy, and the bone of Tom Riddle Senior, the bone of Tom Riddle, Lord Voldemort’s father, Lord Voldemort regained his full body.
Lord Voldemort summons his servants by the Dark Mark at Little Hangleton
By Wormtail’s Dark Mark, Lord Voldemort summons and scolds the Death Eaters for their lack of loyalty. Former Death Eaters such as Lucius Malfoy, Crabbe Senior, Goyle Senior, Nott Senior, Avery and Walden Macnair who were those that denied their loyalty to Lord Voldemort had to face Lord Voldemort in fury.
