Gilderoy Lockhart’s publications

Gilderoy Lockhart had an exceptional talent in memory charms. He had extracted the memories of famous witches and wizards and erased their memories while he used their memories of adventures for his books. During Gilderoy’s school years at Hogwarts, he was infamous for his narcissistic character, self-obsession, and his condescending arrogance of his magic talents which he lacked.

He would send himself 800 letters on Valentines Day that cancelled breakfast due to the fuzz caused by the owls, engrave his face on artefacts and many other incidents out of his narcissism.

Creatures from Glideroy Lockhart’s publications

Vampires of Harry Potter were humanoid magical-beings associated with the dark magics. Vampires were infamous for their appetite on blood but they did diet on other food as well.

Some witches and wizards believed that the blood lollipops that were sold at Honeydukes were made for vampires. Vampires were allergic to garlic like the old superstitions of them and many vampires were associated with the muggle world.

Vanmpire Sanguini

Banshee were creatures of dark magic that were native to Ireland. Banshees would look like a woman and carried a fatal screech that could damage those who heard them. The screech of banshees was fatal as a scream of a fully grown mandrake.

Hags were magical-beings that took a female form of a witch but had only 4 toes, covered with warts on their face and had a distinctive hooked nose. Hags were known to have an appetite on human flesh, however there were many socialized hags that could live among wizards and witches.

Ghouls were magical creatures that were considered harmless in the wizarding world. Unlike ghouls that were believed to feed on flesh, were undead and attack people in the normal fantasy worlds, the ghouls of harry Potter weren’t as dangerous.

They were a tiny humanoid form with grey-green skin but they often lived in storages and attics. The Weasley family had a ghoul in the Burrows.

Yeti’s were native magical creatures to Tibet. It was also known as the Abominable Snowman. It was 4.5 meters(15 feet) tall and had a carnivorous appetite.

Yeti’s were one of the worst disasters to the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy as they were continuously witnessed by muggles in Tibet.

Ron Weasley’s first wand

Ron Weasley’s first wand was handed down from Charlie Weasley (Charles Weasley)/ Although the wands usually chose their wizard or witch, wands with a unicorn hair core relatively were much generous and less loyal compared to the dragon heartstring core, and the phoenix core.

Ron Weasley’s first wand was 12 inches long and made from ash tree with a unicorn hair. During the car crash to the Whomping Willow while Harry and Ron flew the Flying Ford Anglia, Ron’s wand was damaged.

Ron feared to tell his parents of this because he was already terrified by the first howler sent by his mother Molly Weasley.

Ron’s wand backfired when Ron tried to avenge Hermione on Draco Malfoy when Draco called Hermione a mudblood but the magic backfired on Ron.

Gilderoy Lockhart seized this broken wand from Ron and tried to erase the memories of Harry and Ron in attempt to conceal his secrets and his incapability of magic skills to rescue Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets.

However, Gilderoy Lockhart’s magic backfired as well and Gilderoy Lockhart completely lost his memories. Ron’s broken wand turned the tide of the story of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Gilderoy Lockhart

Gilderoy Lockhart attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, 4 years before Severus Snape, Lily Evans (Lily Potter) and Severus Snape. He was infamous for his arrogance and narcissism already despite his lack of talent in magic although he was exceptionally talented in memory charms.

He has caused many troubles in school because of his narcissism so many faculty members of Hogwarts including Professor Snape were stunned of the news when Gildeory Lockhart became the new professor for the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

The only talents that he possessed was his extremely exceptional talent in memory charms. Gilderoy Lockhart’s memory charms were powerful enough to wipe out the whole memories of a wizard or witch and he could use such memory charms against the most powerful witches and wizards that could take down even the most dangerous dark magical creatures.

Gildeory Lockhart would obtain the memories and experiences of adventurers and powerful witches and wizards then completely wipe out their memory and Gilderoy Lockhart would publish their experiences as if he was such a hero.

How did Gilderoy Lockhart become the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts

Headmaster Albus Dumbledore has sacrificed the quality of education by appointing Gilderoy Lockhart as the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Faculty members were who knew of Gilderoy Lockhart’s were puzzled of Dumbledore’s decision while those who didn’t know his past were extremely disappointed of Gilderoy’s lack of ability. Among the memories that Gilderoy Lockhart intercepted were close to Albus Dumbledore.

Albus Dumbledore noticed that they didn’t remember a thing during certain periods which Gilderoy Lockhart published specific experiences of those certain periods. Albus Dumbledore thought the only method to figure out was to offer Gildroy Lockhart the Defense Against the Dark Arts position.

Gilderoy Lockhart refused at first but Albus Dumbledore lured him with the fame of Harry Potter which Gilderoy Lockhart thought was an even better opportunity to boast himself. Apparently, through the events of the Chamber of Secrets, Gilderoy Lockhart’s fraud was revealed to the whole world.
