Buckbeak’s Executioner – Walden Macnair

After Lucious Malfoy appealed to the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures as Draco Malfoy was injured by Buckbeak the hippogriff, along with minister Cornelius Fudge came Walden Macnair, the executioner.

Walden Macnair was a cruel man in nature and became an executioner for the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures as he was fond of ‘killing’.

However, like many other witches and wizards, Walden Macnair had a shameful past. He used to be one of the Death Eaters who were servants of Lord Voldemort.

Walden Macnair like many other Death Eaters claimed he was under the Imperius Curse which was a mind-control curse by Lord Voldemort. Eventually Walden Macnair was acquitted and even earned a job as an executioner for the Ministry of Magic.

Harry Potter and his father James Potter

Harry Potter was an exquisite combination of both James Potter and Lily Potter. James Potter’s closest friends would mistake Harry Potter as James Potter as Harry Potter inherited most of the looks of James Potter.

James Potter was also a talented wizard with exceptional flying skills which Harry Potter inherited as both played for the Gryffindor Quidditch team as a seeker.

Also, James Potter was one of the most notorious rule-breakers during his Hogwarts years while Harry Potter, although at a good cause, was also another outlaw in terms of keeping school rules.

Harry Potter and his mother Lily Potter

Although Harry Potter inherited most of his looks from his father James Potter, Harry Potter inherited the eyes of his mother Lily Potter. Lily Potter or Lily Evans was a muggle born witch while Harry Potter didn’t realize he was a wizard until his eleventh birthday.

Lily Potter and Harry Potter’s background of experiencing both the muggle world and the wizarding world helped them have an exceptional sense of diversity and tolerance.

Although Harry shared personality traits with his father, like Lily Potter, Harry Potter was naturally abhorred bullies and stood up to them. Harry Potter and Lily Potter had exceptional affections to those they loved and were willing to sacrifice themselves for those they loved.

Professor Remus Lupin reminds Harry Potter on how much his kind and generous personality resembles his mother Lily Potter along with his eyes.

Beginning of Shut Up Malfoy memes

Possibly one of the most famous memes or lines of the Harry Potter series would be “Shut Up Malfoy”. The Shut Up Malfoy memes started from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Frog Choir

Professor Filius Flitwick led the Frog Choir which was the choir for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Filius Flitwick led the Hogwarts orchestra as well. This wasn’t depicted in the novel, however, was adapted for the film.

The song that the Frog Choir performs during the start of semester of Hogwarts in the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner Azkaban was called “Double Trouble” or “Something Wicked This Way Comes”. The song itself was more of a foreshadowing of the plot that was going to happen to Harry Potter.

Double Trouble (Something Wicked This Way Comes)

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Something wicked this way comes!

Eye of newt and toe of frog,

Wool of bat and tongue of dog,

Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,

Lizard's leg and howlet's wing.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Something wicked this way comes!

In the cauldron boil and bake,

Fillet of a fenny snake,

Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,

Witches' mummy, maw and gulf.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Double, double, toil and trouble;

Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Something wicked this way comes!

Hogsmeade

Hogsmeade was a village near by Hogwarts that students in their 3rd year or over could visit if they receive approval by their parents or their guardians during the weekends. As students of Hogwarts would only have to stay at Hogwarts unless it was the Holiday seasons, visit to Hogsmeade was a good refreshment to students.

Students do depart at the Hogsmeade train station from the Hogwarts Express but they were shipped right away to Hogwarts so this weekend pass was the only way for Hogwarts students to take a visit to the village. Hogsmeade had many shops with treats and amusements.

Neville Longbottom was denied his pass to Hogsmeade after losing a note of the Gryffindor common room password (in the novel, he appears in the movie) and Harry Potter after the aunt Marge incident couldn’t receive a signature from the Dursley’s so he was denied access to Hogsmeade as well.

Honeydukes was the most famous sweets store while Zonko’s joke shop was the favorite amusement shop for the young witches and wizards.
